5.16.15: May concerts capped a year of growth and success at Santa Rosa Junior College, highlighted by increased enrollment, strong musical progress, performances in Weill Hall and at Day Under the Oaks, and a memorable final concert week featuring the SRJC Orchestra's performance of The Planets and the SRJC Symphonic Band.
8.18.14: Jerome Fleg begins as Director of Instrumental Music at Santa Rosa Junior College! Duties include conducting Orchestra, Symphonic Band and Jazz Band. After many enjoyable and productive years in Wyoming and Colorado, Jerome has moved his home base to Santa Rosa, CA (55 miles north of San Francisco).
7.06.14: Guatemala Jazz Festival invite Jerome Fleg and others to return for March 2015 Jazz Festival! Dr. Fleg and other guest faculty from the USA presented a weeklong Jazz Camp and performances in 2014. After performing to a packed house and receiving rave reviews, Jerome Fleg and others will return again in March 2015!
4.04.14: Antero Winds (including Jerome Fleg, clarinet) were invited back for Aspen Music Festival residencies in 2026 and 2027 following a successful Colorado residency featuring school outreach and a concert in Basalt.
3.14.14: Jerome Fleg and Casper College completed a residency with the Guatemala International Jazz Festival, leading a Jazz Boot Camp in Guatemala City that concluded with faculty and student performances. The project was later featured in the Casper Journal. Casper Journal.
2.03.14: Casper College Jazz Band earned rave reviews at the 47th Annual Kinser Jazz Festival, featuring guest artists Erik Applegate, Dan Jonas, and Wil Swindler.
